Low grade fever-help!?

Question

Hey ladies! I don't normally worry too much about having a fever under 100, but being here in Denver, (our temps tend to run a bit lower due to altitude)and that I'm 8 weeks pregnant, I dont think I should ignore it.  Everything I've read always says a fever is serious in the first trimester. Can any of you give me a bit of insight? Have you had a fever? Was your dr concerned?

I haven't even been in to see my midwife yet and I've switched to her so I don't even have rapport there as of yet. Help!?

I went to bed at 99. Woke up after a rough nights sleep at 99.6.

I got a fever at 9 weeks from the flu (I didn't get the flu shot when I should have and am still kicking myself) my fever got too high and wouldn't go down, so I had to be hospitalized. (My fever got up to 102 for about 3-4 hours). I would definitely give your doctor a call to check because any fever for a length of time isn't good. In the meantime, try to wear light layers, no heavy blankets, drink lots of cold water, or a cold compress on your head, and if none of that works, try Tylenol. Hope you get better soon

Call the midwife u should be seeing and tell the office what is going on. They'll tell you what to do or have u come in

I had a fever when I was about 7-8 weeks. I went to the doctor and found out my cold had turned into a sinus infection and I needed antibiotics. They didn't seem too worried. I'm not almost 22 weeks and so far everything seems good!

Low grade fever-help!?
