Bleeding severely

I'm 9 weeks today and as I was standing in the kitchen cooking, I suddenly felt a huge gush pouring out of me. I thought I had somehow peed myself and ran to the bathroom just to find it was a LARGE puddle of bright red blood 😢 I called my ob and they made me an appointment for 8 am tomorrow but idk if I should wait or just rush to the emergency room. Has this happened to anyone else?
