Go to walmart and get a probiotic. Have BV off and on since I've had my son, which is now 8. Sex always makes it come back but the probiotic makes it stay away if you take it daily. Also, danactive probiotic drinks help just not as effective.

If you're looking for a home remedy..  Something that I've done and worked for bv for a few months..  I inserted a tampon soaked in no-flavor plain yogurt. There are live cultures in it that help balance your pH out. Really all bv is an imbalance of pH.

No. Yeast is a fungal infection. You need anti-fungal medication. BV is a bacterial infection which requires antibiotics.

Douches are not recommended! They mess up your vaginal pH and lead to yeast infections and BV.
