Baby bump?

Not trying to be rude about anyone or any body type, but does anyone know if you show sooner if you're thin or heavier? I've heard both and I'm just curious!

Each pregnancy is entirely unique to the person. I've had super skinny friends not show until almost 30 weeks and other super skinny friends show at 6. I've had overweight friends never show at all and others show super early. I was 135/140lbs at 5'5 prior to baby and began showing at 7ish weeks. Each pregnancy and each person is different!

IN GENERAL, a thinner woman would show sooner. She doesn't have any extra layers to hide it when her uterus starts peaking out and they are asked to gain more weight. Larger women tend to have more weight around their middle to hide a growing uterus and they are usually asked to gain less weight than average throughout their pregnancy. You asked in general and I know there are exceptions but this is the AVERAGE truth.  But to stress, every pregnancy is different.

I think it really just depends on the person and which pregnancy. With my first, I weighed barely 100 and never showed(she was born at 20 weeks, but imyou couldn't tell I was pregnant the whole time). And now with my second, i was 104 pre pregnancy, I will be 30 weeks tomorrow and have been showing for as long as I can remember.
