Emotional Pain after Abortion?

For anyone who has had an abortion, what feelings did you have after?

Depression. Lost. Disconnected.sad.confused.regret .... For a while until I started to heal thankfully.

I was upset for a while, but felt extremely relieved. We couldn't support a child at the time and lived in squalor. As in everyone was always sick, child services would come and take a child away squalor. It was just a bad time. Sometimes I wonder what could have been but I had a dream that I sat the child down for a second and it was eating dog shit off the ground, which was abundant in that area. That image stuck with me, and honestly it wasn't as bad emotionally as the miscarriages before that for me.

Everyone is different. Only you know what's best for you.

After about a week and my hormones went back to normal, I felt fine and was very relieved. Now, a few months later, I think about it daily again and it's not regret so much as longing. I'm still not ready but I'm just thinking about having a child a lot.
