Help my cousin?

My cousin (16) has been with her BF for 3 1/2 months. Ive met him and he seemed really lovely. However, he gets really jealous and overprotective of her really quickly. Shes having a sleepover at mine (im a girl too, no boys in sight) and we went for a walk and he accused her of not being with me and started yelling. He even saw me on facetime. He got super mad at her for going to see my sick gran in hospital too. Im worried about her as her last BF hurt her loads.

She said she would feel bad for dumping him because it would look like she was with him for money (he bought her an iphone 6 and a pandora ring) but i really think hes trying to control her.

I'd rather want him knowing or thinking I just wanted him for money than being in that kind of relationship where it could lead to abuse..

Okay so same situation with my roommate (ex-Bff) and her boyfriend. She is so controlled by him. He sucks... And he's an idiot... A 20 year old that currently only has about 15 hours of credit from a community college but yet wants to go to my university (Texas A&M) the school known for its engineering program, when my peers are taking 18 hrs in one semester. Sorry for my rant but anyways, I got involved because I cared and it totally back fired on me. Maybe since she's your cousin, she'll listen but in my situation, she listened, went to go talk to him, and came back with a completely different mindset. I know you care and she does need to leave but ultimately it depends on how strong she is to see what's wrong with the relationship and take action. And if she wants, be there with her so you can control the conversation. Make sure that he's not trying to control it... Best of luck. But be careful. If he has a lot of control, it could potentially ruin your relationship with her.

He definately has trust issues, maybe he was cheated on a several of times in his previous relationships or it could also be a sign of guilt tjat he's cheating X
