I felt really crappy yesterday (my due date) and had a pounding headache, took my bp and it was 134/72 (normally I'm 80/60) so we headed in to labor and delivery seeing yesterday was my due date. After I'd been laying down for over an hour they took my bp and said it was 100/60 and to come back when I couldn't walk or talk....

Here's my concern, my mom, grandma, and aunt never had labor pain. All 3 never felt anything until it was time to push, when I was in last night they said I was having them 10 minutes apart (we watched them register off the charts but I never felt a thing so I'm sure I'll be just like them). I asked for other signs of labor to look for other than contractions and they kept blowing me off saying trust me you'll know when contractions start... I'm an hour from my doctor, I really don't feel like delivering in the car. This is my first, I'm 40+1.
