Bachelor(ette) party?

Just curious at what your takes are on them? For girls, boys, shared?

I think the idea of a celebration prior to the wedding is a fun idea, ya know involving family and friends, but there will be no partying like we're single.

We've decided on a shared party. No need to celebrate like we're single one more time (especially since we aren't single and haven't been for a long while.) We're thinking bon fire, booze, and camping.

My Bachelorette party was more of a celebration with my friends than one last night of singledom. I did a costume theme pub crawl.  I had a blast.  We got crazy but there were no strippers or anything like that. Just a lot of drinking.

My husband did do the typical male strip club thing. Which didn't bother me.  He was with a ton of friends and his brothers and dad were there. Besides,  I trust him completly. If I didn't, I wouldn't have married him.

I don't personally want a bachelorette party. I find the whole 'needing a last day of freedom' thing to be pointless. I love my fiance and I gave up the single life when we got together, getting married doesn't change anything. He feels the same way about it.

Every couple is different. I had more of a bridal shower than a batchelor(ette) party. Low key & nothing crazy. My husband did the same.

We did a couples party...we hung out with our friends and then went out to a bar, everyone together. Most of our friends are already married so this was not only fun for us but them too

I absolutely do not want a bachelorette party, nor does my bf want a bachelor party himself. He knows that his buddies will get strippers, no matter what he says. I just feel like I'm past the point where tons of penis decorations and getting totally drunk looks appealing. Plus neither of us feel the need for a "last bash" before a wedding.

But it's to each their own.

Yeah! A fun Hoorah! (No making out or sex though!) I went to Nashville with my girls and did a bar crawl/ pole dancing classes. My husband went to Savannah and did a bar crawl there then spent the next day at the beach on tybee island. We trust each other and the people we were with soo it was fun!

My husband and the guys spent the day at the vineyards  (east long island) and went out for dinner. All of the women in my family and friends took me to a drag queen show in the city. we all had a great time

I went Salsa dancing with my girls and drank a little. My husband, on the other hand, did a bar crawl and blacked out. He ended up puking on one of our really good friends. 😑
