Plus size.. Will I show?

Being a bigger girl I am scared I won't ever look pregnant I will just look fat.  I am 5"4 and before the first test weigh 248 I am now 5 weeks and I am scared to weigh myself and I want that pregnancy belly...

I am a plus size too. I started off at 218, I'm 5'7". Was worried I wouldn't "show" I started showing at 2 months. The pic is at 6-7 months. You'll show. Mainly depends on how the baby is laying and how you carry. Relax, you have plenty of time. Good luck and enjoy every moment cause it flies by.

I didn't show with my first until about 7 months but with this one I'm carrying him totally different and started showing earlier. I'm also the same height and weighed in at 256 at my first appointment. I've only gained 8 pounds and I'm all belly!

I'm 5'8 but I was 247 before and I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow with number 2.

I'm 5ft 205 and I was thinking the same thing as u. I have 38H boobs so I'm all boobs! And tummy under. But with my bra on LOL. I can see the rounding at the top. The bottom of my stomach already take the longest to round up and her hard. I'm on baby number 3

I'm 240 and 10 weeks and I'm already showing I'm rounder" where as before it was just kinda flat but spread out lol idk if that makes sense but I mean you can without a doubt tell im pregnant .. Your belly may or may not grow but it will without a doubt round out and you will look pregnant . Just obviously not now your still really early

It depends on your body type I think, and where bubs is sitting. I didn't really show until 6 months, and now at about 7 months it is getting more prominent.  I was also worried about not showing, and I'd get a bit sad seeing everyone's lively belly pictures. I still don't have a lovely,  round belly but it feels different and I know she is in there!

One thing that made me feel better was that there are slim women who don't show as much either :-) There were also pictures of women who were larger than me and definitely looked very pregnant (not fat) so it isn't really about your size I think, just where baby is positioned and where your fluffy bits are deposited :-)

Don't stress..it'll happen! I thought the same thing.  I weigh 255 now so I understand where you're coming from. I started to show around 20 weeks and haven't gained any weight. I've actually lost weight. I just started eating healthier and walking.
