Have you tried using a stethoscope to listen to your baby's heartbeat? Also, how far along were you? And where did you find it at?

I have a cardiac stethoscope that I use for work, and I started hearing my baby's heart beat with it around 30 weeks (I'm now 32 weeks). I try to listen to it every night before bed. Most nights I can hear it loud and clear, but there have been some nights where she is in a position that I can't hear it.

I'm 30 weeks and my sister (she works in a medical field) was able to pick up baby's heartbeat almost immediately with a stethoscope. I tried right after her and it took me forever to hear it and I still wasn't positive I had found it. So - it might be fun to try if you have a stethoscope handy, but don't be alarmed if you can't find the heartbeat. I think you may need some medical skills to be good at finding the heartbeat that way.

I tried today at work and I'm 24 weeks. Nothing. But when the doctor does it, it seems so easy to them
