HELP!!!!!!!!!

I am new to the fertility specialist thing and I had to get an injection that stimulates my follicles. At least that's what the nurse said. I'm a little confused I asked her will this make me ovulate she said no. But I just got a solid smiley face with my clearblue digital. Is it a false positive? Will it cause me to release several eggs? I really someone to explain this to me.
