Aunt Flow problems 😩

Ok, so to sum it up real quick, I have always had an irregular period, but I have missed 40 days now since my last one, and I have not had sex or anything. I have also had pain on my left side a lot lately from the result of this. Could it just be stress? And should I go see a doctor? 😩😢🙃
