Okay so I got my belly button pierced on July 28th. The place that did it kind of sucked. She shoved it in without any notice and I feel like she wasn't sanitary enough. It has been a light pink around it ever since I got it pierced. I cleaned it twice daily with the antibacterial soap that's "unscented" for the first month. And then once daily since then usually when I'm in the shower, I take the hand soap in with me. Anyways. On January 1st, I decided to change it so my boyfriend and I both washed our hands. And he put it in for me as I couldn't find the hole in the dark. I stuck the bar in like a rubbing alcohol or something? (Clear liquid with a strong smell that disinfects things I'm pretty sure) and then I put it through and it turned like the picture below. I'm not sure if it's cause of the reactant with the alcohol in skin or not. But lately I've still been cleaning it in the shower, and then occasionally soaking it with sea salt or putting tea trea oil on it. What do I do! I think it's getting worse
