Breastfeeding, pros and cons!

I've always wanted to try breastfeeding but partner never wanted me to so I've never done it, we are pretty sure this is going to be our last baby and I really want to breastfeed or express and bottle feed with breast milk. My partner says he is against it and he will see how long I will last doing that. Does anyone have any previous experience with breastfeeding and how did you find it? I really don't know wether its a good idea or not!
