Umbilical cord hernia?

After I had my daughter almost 5 years ago I was told at my 6 week appointment I had an umbilical cord hernia. I'm currently 18 weeks and 5 days pregnant and my belly button is starting to pop out but it hurts.. Anyone else have or had an umbilical cord hernia during pregnancy?

Get a support band. Or even wear a spanx like tank top on your belly. 
I had a hernia that developed in my first pregnancy from my ab muscles separating too far. I went a whole another pregnancy (delivering 13 months apart) with the hernia and it was torture with out support. 
Post partum I had to have my gallbladder removed bc of other complications from the pregnancy, and had it stitched up then. I'm praying it stays so I don't have to have another surgery. 
See if a surgeon will fix it while your in the hospital after delivering.

I had one with my son almost 2 years ago. I had it repaired a few months after he was born with just a couple of stitches. With this pregnancy mine is also starting to hurt and the stitch feels like it's stabbing me sometimes. So lame. I called the doctor yesterday and she said that getting a belly bandit while pregnant may help a bit. I ordered one and am so far loving the support and release of pressure off my belly button. Hope this helps you too.
