Your husband was talking to "an old friend" who is a female, about his problems *instead of you* and you two are playing around and his phone goes off and you reach for it to jokingly "tell them to leave you alone" (thinking it was guys from work) and he tried to fight you for it and you see a text from this girl that says something and then "well I'm thinking about you, if that helps" when he knows I'm insecure and not comfortable with him talking to girls because of past problems in our relationship.

Or am I over reacting?

& by over reacting I mean I just went from playful to quiet and don't really want to talk to him right now. No yelling or accusing, I just want to be alone and think.
