Grammar

I think we should make a group for the grammar police. No one cares if you misspelled a word or words. Correcting them in their comment is just being b*tchy. We're all grown women(and some men), maybe we should start acting like it.... And maybe you should give it a thought... This is an international app. Not everyone's English is perfect. I'm not from the USA and my English isn't very good but when you correct me, it  drives me up the wall.

I just get annoyed by all the long paragraphs and there's not a single punctuation. When I run across a post like that, I just move on to the next post instead of calling them out on it.

as long as it's readable, I don't see why it's necessary to correct people. unless they ask. it's just rude!

Have you ever considered sometimes we correct grammar to help the posters learn? If they use the incorrect word, a correction can be helpful for the future.

If that's how you take a correction amongst and answer, the problem is yours... Not mine

A lot of posts on here are so grammatically incorrect that I can't even understand the post. If you want to be understood, you need to learn how to speak correctly. I'm allowed to be annoyed. It's lazy and tacky. Also no, we are not "all grown women on here" there are a lot of teenagers.

I use "talk to text" or whatever it's called, and sometimes that's a bad idea haha.

I give everyone on here permission to happily correct my grammar if needed, because I'd rather sound more intelligent instead of being offended. Not that you would need permission anyway :)

I only correct when someone is being a bitch.

I agree. People on the Internet can be from anywhere in the world, English might be their second or third language for all you know. Most people just start to correct grammar when losing an argument lol.

Some people do care - that's why they correct errors. Some people even learn from corrections and improve their English so future posts are easier to read and understand. I don't often correct errors, but they can be annoying and make posts difficult to read. I'm much less likely to reply to a post if the spelling and grammar is very poor.
