Delivering without husband..

Hope someone can share their experience if they have delivered without their spouses present at that time.. my hubby will be away for 10months and might not be able to come back and i'm preparing my mind to not stress too much about it. I am staying with my mom at the moment and i'm grateful to have lots of help and support from her.. but almost every night i feel like i want to break down cos i really hate the thought of delivering our first baby without my hubby..and even more that he wont be around until the baby is 7 months. :'(
