6 weeks postpartum

Did anyone already have their 6 week post partum check up? I have mine in a few days and I'm pretty nervous as to what happens. Do they stick anything inside? How do they check the vaginal area? I tore pretty bad and I'm still semi sore and I'm nervous about being in pain during the exam.
