What's the scariest experience you've ever had?

Anything from a burglary, paranormal, your child getting hurt just anything that has happened to you that truly freaked you out. Stories please :).

I was leaving work early one day when I was about 6 weeks pregnant, and hydroplaned my car off of the road, through someone's yard, into a group of trees! Totaled out my car. 😞 the man whose yard I went through said that my car was about to go into their deep ditch, which would've caused me to flip my car on its hood, but he said my car suddenly started spinning in the opposit direction. I walked away with a small concussion and that's it.

Also, when I was about 14, my room caught on fire. The wire on an electric space heater got too hot, and was too close to my curtains. It was about 3 in the morning, and I had been sleeping but all of a sudden woke up and rolled over.. I opened my eyes and saw the first spark. I ran to my parents room and was back in my bedroom less than ten seconds later, and my bed was in flames.

I definitely believe God has had his hand on me!

When me and my sister were younger (about 14 and 9) we couldn't find my sister anywhere in the house and a few weeks before this happened a house not too far from ours robbed a house and the robber ran through my yard to get away. Well while we were looking for her we were checking every room in our house and we had no idea where she was when we walked down stairs to look out back door was wide open. I started to panic and I ran to my grandmothers room to call the police (we already checked in there) when I ran in there I saw my sister lying lifeless on the bed one are dangling off her eyes wide open and blood shot mouth slightly open. I fell to my knees screaming and crying cause I thought someone came in the house and killed my sister. At this point my grandma is in the room trying to help me up and checking on my sister at the same time. Then my sister just sits up and asks what's wrong with me. Needless to say we found out that she sometimes sleeps walks and sleeps with her eyes open 😱

My first born almost died. While i was pushing his shoulder got stuck. One nurse was on top of me pushing down on my belly and the midwife was pulling on his head.  I was screaming from the pain of her pushing. I didnt feel like it was possible to push. The nurse kept yelling you have to push now he needs to come out right now push push. He came out grey and totally lifeless. When the nurse picked him up to bring him to the table his arms and legs were completely limp. They couldn't get him to breathe for 7 minutes. After he finally made the tiniest little cry they rushed him to the nicu. On there way down the hall to the NICU he had to be resuscitated 4 times. They were able to get him stable once they got to the nicu and we were able to go home 4 days later. Hes now almost 5yrs old. Very strong active healthy and stubborn. He had no lasting negative effects from it all.

When I was 16 I was driving on an icy road. Car spun out of control, heading right for a big box truck, super fast. I slammed on breaks, hit the emergency break, nothing worked. We were headed RIGHT for this box truck super fast. The car came to a dead stop litterally 3 centimeters from the loading dock on the box truck, that would have shattered my windshield and probably killed me. I was running with a bad crowd at that time and I definitely think it was a wake up call from my angels.

I miscarried and started to bleed at 1am by 4am I was in the er and passed out in triage. Got a concussion, needed fluids & a blood transfusion. I was so out of it my stepdad had to stay with me to make any choices for me cuz I couldn't. I could barely tell them what was wrong with me after I passed out. All I remember was pain. My stepdad said he thought they moved me when he came back from the bathroom cuz I was screaming and it sounded like an infant because I was screaming when they were putting my iv in and I had no clue. I come to crying and with blood on my hand and not knowing why. Then I had to deal with a concussion for another month. I wasn't allowed to go anywhere alone for a week and for another 2 weeks I could go to the gas station but I couldn't go to the grocery store or longer trips because I would get sick.
My dd got viral meningitis when she was 5w old. I had no clue what was wrong and one day she woke up with a sever fever at 101.8 at 6am one day and it did not go down even with Tylenol so I took her to the er and we were instantly admitted and she had so many tests done and we were there for 3 days. I was so thankful when they told me it was viral haha! Never felt more relief in my life than then when I found out she just had to burn it through herself and didn't need a ton of medication.
My husband was working in a loft apartment and the guy he was working for fell off the 2nd floor onto the concrete and smashed his head open. My dh was going to go home but decided he just had one more plug to do so he stayed. The guy he worked for is alive because my husband stayed but it terrified the hell out of me because he got home at almost midnight and was covered in blood.
My son was almost hit by a dump truck when my dh wasn't watching him when he was suppose to be watching him outside. Dh got outside the yard and almost to the road before I grabbed him with bottles in my hand and as soon as I grabbed him the truck went by.

Previously I was in a relationship with a lot of abuse. Most nights we'd get in physical fights where we both hit each other and we both had bumps and bruises at the end.
One morning he woke me up screaming at me calling me names because of something he found on my phone. (A guy sent a dick pic to me without asking if I wanted to see it or anything) He got on top of me and started punching me in the face and head, a lot harder than he ever had before. When I put my hands up to block and fight back he grabbed my wrists and pinned my hands under his knees. My cat (who usually just watched us fight) kept getting on my chest and crying and he had to keep pushing the cat away to hit me again.
I got a hand free and grabbed for a scalpel that was on the ground next to the blankets I was sleeping on (it was there because I self harmed a lot in those times) and he grabbed it first and pinned my hand again. He threatened me with it in between punches and then started to choke me, screaming 'die, bitch, die' and I passed out. When I woke up my vision was messed up, I couldn't see out of one eye and I couldn't feel much there either. He was sitting away from me with his head in his hands. 
All I could think was that he had cut my eye out and severed the nerves. It was the only time I felt like he'd actually kill me, no matter how many times he had threatened to before.  He didn't cut me, he had just given me a bad black eye that busted some blood vessels and what was probably a horrible concussion. I never saw a doctor, but I still have the bumps on my head almost 2 years later.

Mine probably was when I was 13 or 14 walking to the store with my 2 girl friends and 2 guys probably in their early 30s kept following us and asking how much it would cost to have sex. We thought they were joking at first but they kept following us and opening the passenger door every time they got close to us trying to get us ti get in the car. We finally ran inside a store until they left. Really scared me.

When I was crossing a street in Alabama, a car stopped to let us cross, the driver suddenly sped up, I stepped in front of my mom and she hit me instead, hit me so hard I came out of my boots, that was terrifying, I blacked out 3 times and the EMT kept calling me over and over

On our way back from our Hunny moon we were driving back home on the highway. My car is a little Nissan Versa, just put things in perspective. An SUV lost control and slid sideways in front of us. It was so scary to be looking at someone slide across of you. We thought we were in the clear but as soon as it hit the medium it came back and hit us. I was so scared my husband reaction saved us I think we would have died had he not sped up a bit. The SUV hit other cars too while it was bouncing around. it was a mess, but I'm happy to be here about to bring my baby into the world
