Maternity leave increased! Now I just need to get pregnant already!

I live in the US, where paid maternity leave is something only some companies offer. Often times, it is only 4 to 6 weeks. I have worked for a company for the last 8 years that offers 12 weeks paid maternity leave. It wasn't until I had a friend that had a baby, and she had to go back to work after 2 weeks, that I learned I was lucky I got paid maternity leave. I got an email this morning from our CEO that was sent to all US based employees stating that paid maternity leave is now increased from 12 weeks to 16 weeks! I am over the moon excited about this! I love that I work for a company that cares so much about their employees.

Now I just need to get pregnant... easier said than done. Been trying over a year, MC in 12/2014. Doing our first IUI cycle this month. Went in yesterday for my ultrasound at cycle day 12, and had 3 follicles that looked ready, but they wanted to wait 1 more day, do another ultrasound, and maybe the HCG shot, then IUI the next 2 days, or if I ovulated on my own last night, they'll do 1 IUI today. I have an appointment this afternoon. Feeling good about it! Fingers crossed!
