Baby came early; 36 weeks, 5 days
Craziest and best day of my life!
My doc had just checked me at 5pm the night before and I was 2cm. She was like "dont think this means anything it's your first baby, you could be at 2cm for weeks."
Well then My water broke at home around 5:15am, got to hospital at 7:45ish. Then he was out in less than an hour! I was 10cm/ready to start pushing when we got there, I actually had to wait to push until they got a doc!!! I asked for an epidural and the nurse laughed and said "your gong to have a baby in 10min, there is no time for an epidural!"
I was completely bewildered, especially when they put the baby on me, I was thinking -whose baby is this? They need to move it so I can see mine when it comes! Haha!!!
Then I had some bleeding/clotting issues with lead to needing a DNC surgery/procedure which was super upsetting but in the end was the right call.
We are home now and doing great, it was a fast crazy experience but certainly better than those labors that go on for days!!!
