When did you tell family?

My mom has been impatiently awaiting a grandchild since my hubby and I got married 4 years ago. I'm anxious to tell her we're expecting, but I'm less than 5 weeks and if something goes wrong, I hate to get her hopes up. Did you tell your parents/grandparents right away or wait until 12 weeks?

My and my husband's parents all knew within the hour of that positive test. We've been waiting way too long for that positive! My brother and his fiancee also know, but I think my husband wants to wait for my first doctor visit to tell his siblings.
