Any one else have gestational diabetes?

Question

I was told on Tuesday that my numbers were abnormal. Got the glucose monitor. Talked to the nutritionist and the doctor today. All four of my numbers were too high at the 3 hr test. 
I am stressed out. I don't deal well with diets. I tend to get hungry quickly and "hangry" and low/no carbs is not going to help that. 
Anyone else going through this too, would like someone to talk to, bounce ideas and recipes off of that would be great!

I've been hating my GD diagnosis as well. I try to eat the same things at breakfast, and lunch. Then I change it up with dinner. A good protein, and veggies.

Tacos have been my jam! Mission makes high fiber, low net carb tortillas that work wonders for me. Then I pile on the meat, guac, salsa, cheese, dab of sour cream, and lettuce. I've never had bad levels after eating that for dinner.

Basic chicken breasts or thighs with various seasonings, spices, marinades, etc have also been great. Pair that with some veggies and whatever carb agrees with you. For me it's whole grain bread, small amounts of rice, and tortillas. Those are my go to carbs.

Also, mandarin oranges that I buy in juice and not syrup have been an awesome snack that don't set me over the edge.

I miss pasta!!!!! I miss it so very much! And nothing really replaces it for me. I've tried spaghetti squash and while it was super tasty with marinara sauce and cheese, it just wasn't the same. As soon as I get the clear to eat like a normal human again, I'm eating a giant bowl of pasta!

I have it ..its not nice at all. But u have to eat healthy honestly its really hard but u have to do it. I went from pills to insulin ..and u dont want the insulin because you'll have to stick urself everyday ..but the insukin do montior my sugar plus me eatin good ...so now the fluid around my baby went dwn alot.

Any one else have gestational diabetes?
