I would believe my children. This actually happened to my baby girl, last year when she was 4 from her father. Everything came to light after I divorced him, he made her so scared 😢. Thank God for my husband now, he adopted her, and has been so loving and supportive during that time. Definitely is the most heart breaking thing to hear from you child, and seeing the terror in their eyes. 😢

I absolutely would .. my daughter is 4 but tells me everything. If someone told her a secret she woukd tell me so if she told me that then I would instantly go to the police no hesitation. .

I'm currently going through this right now. My 4 year old son said some troubling things about his grandfather, and having been abused by him when I was a child, I instantly noticed the "trademark" behavior. We now live in a different state than his grandfather, and I gave him a talk about how no one can touch his privates without his permission. I instantly went into crazy momma bear mode and went for blood while talking to my father. I didn't make accusations but I also didn't let him defend himself. I regret going for his throat, so to speak, because now it's come to light through my son that he misinterpreted what had happened, and my father was trying to teach him to pee standing up. It's a delicate thing... I don't know.
