Shapewear

I'm only 8 weeks right now and for the last 3 years I have always worn shapewear under my clothes. It's a spandex under wear basically those goes up to my bra line and is used to kinda keep my fat together instead of flabby. Well I assume I am not supposed to be wearing it while pregnant and to be honest I'm super uncomfortable in it now but I feel naked and uncomfortable without it. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Should I maybe just switch to maternity pants a little early? How early did you gals start wearing maternity clothes seeming as us plus size ladies seems to show later. This is my second pregnancy.
