Sex?¿

So I'm 17 and a virgin. My boyfriend and I are very serious and have discussed the idea of sex, we both are really comfortable with eachother and I think I'm finally ready to take the next step. I already plan on using protection so that's not the problem.

It's my mom.

The only reason my boyfriend and I haven't already gone further is because it's against the "rules" from both of our parents. We've listened and the only thing we've done is oral.

But I'm starting to wonder if I should even listen?

I understand that it's my parent and I should listen. And I'm still a "minor"

But at 17 I've been taking care of myself and my own body. And I feel like that's a personal decision between me and my boyfriend, nobody else.

I want to listen to my mom, mostly because I don't want to get caught and risk never getting to see him again. But it's also my body and I don't think she has the right to make that decision?
