Good baby carriers?

I'd like to wear my baby and so would my fiance. I have tried looking up good brands, but I keep seeing things that are about $150. Is that the only price range for a good one, or is it possible to find a high quality carrier for less than  $100?

I have the infantino mei tai. I loved the reviews and the fact it's a carrier/wrap combo. It starts at 8 pounds though and little man is only 7 now so just waiting another week or two to finally be able to use it!

I have a snugli from my daughter. It cost around $20 5 years ago. I might upgrade to an ergo this time because they look so nice and comfy! You can probably find one second hand for much cheaper on a facebook yard sale group from your area.

Use a wide-seated carrier, the ones with narrow fabric in the crotch area are not good for baby's hips. Infantino has a good one, I think it's called maitai, has a nice wide seat and is easy to put on. They sell them at target for about $30 I think.

If you don't mind wrapping yourself up and not just sticking a baby on you like a backpack, I have a moby wrap and I absolutely love it. I got it for a little over $40 a while back and I used to wrap my boys up and walk around and they would fall asleep in there. I would even breastfeed and stuff with them in the wrap hands free I swear it was a godsend. There are also similar wraps. Some people also like slings but I don't because they are one shoulder.
