Hey guys, I'm wondering if you can give me some advice. My friend and I have been planning to work at this awesome summer camp for years. But the thing is, we've always dreamt of going TOGETHER. We've been living together since August but we've been friends forever. Anyway, this summer camp is already accepting applications. Mine got declined, but hers got through and may or may not be accepted. She might have this job, guys. And obviously, I'm really jealous that she made the cut and I didn't, but I'm really hurt that she's considering (if they accept her) leaving me and going off and doing it by herself. I'm really torn here. Do I just fake a smile and pretend to be happy for her even though I'm being left behind? I'm really upset and I don't know what to do. I just know if the tables were turned, I wouldn't go without her if I wasn't accepted. 😩
