Should we be more than friends?

This guy and I have been friends for almost 2 years now (last week was our "friendeversary"). We went out to eat, and while he was taking me home, he said he wanted to kiss me. I never thought of him in that sort of way, so I turned him down. I don't want to ruin our friendship:/

We have the type of relationship where we always talk about dates that ended badly, or relationships period and he mentioned a girl that liked him and they were going out soon. The little voice in the back of my head screamed.... I don't know if I was jealous or proud of him. I had the chance to have him but I turned him away---now he's taken and I want him? What even is my life!
