WORST UTI EVER

So for the past week I've had definitely the WORST UTI I've ever had. EVER. It's calmed down heaps now, but my kidneys are still sore and I'm too scared to have sex. Anybody else gone through this before? And what did you do for the kidney pain? I live rurally so I can't get to a doctor.
