Early early preeclampsia
I went in yesterday for my 16 week visit and my blood pressure was high and there was protein in my urine (+2). They ran blood tests which came back ok except my potassium is low, and I did the 24 hour urine, which I returned this morning and did more blood work.
The urine/blood from today won't be back from the lab till tomorrow or maybe even Friday morning.
The doctor says that if it's not good I'll go to the perinatologist and to stay in bed rest till we know. He also said people who develop preeclampsia this early very rarely carry the child to the point of viability.
I'm really scared.
