My husband and I are very observant conservative jews. Many of our orthodox friends don't announce on Facebook (in fact, I often don't know many of them are pregnant until they have the baby). There are no Jewish laws against announcing the pregnancy - some customs say not to announce until 5 months, some say not to share outside of immediate family until first trimester is over. But again, that's custom, not law. Is anyone observably Jewish and has announced the pregnancy on Facebook?
