Brown spotting now pink spotting

Not sure what this means but on the 7th and 8th I was cramping and spotting brown blood mostly when I wiped. That stopped but now today I am cramping again and when I wipe its pink. Could this be implantation bleeding? My husband and I planned to start ttc next month so we have been using the pull out method still but we tend to not always pull out immediately. Am I getting to excited? When should I test?
