Spotting at 20 weeks!

So, I am 20 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I have been spotting brown and red blood since Wednesday. I went to the hospital and was checked over, baby heart rate was 159 and I had some vaginal swabs done. The midwives said it wasn't normal to bleed in pregnancy but it is common and not to worry because everything is fine. I am so worried, constantly on edge and can't stop crying. Has anyone else had this and the baby been ok? Xx
