So my SIL is planning on having a baby shower. She's asked me to come along of course I've said yes.

Only problem is I overwhelmingly do NOT believe in gifting an unborn baby. I think it's bad luck and obviously can't help how I feel about it.

I also hate the idea of a baby shower and she is the type that's only doing it for gift grab.

We're not American so this will probably be the only one I'd go to and only because she's carrying my neice or nephew.

I'm not going to show up empty handed and I will be buying something after the baby is born when I go round a visit to meet him/her.

Any suggestions what kind of "gift" I can give her to save embarrassing myself if I'm the only one that doesn't ??
