Would you forgive your husband/boyfriend if he cheated?

I just am curious to know how many women out there would love their man, even if he makes a mistake, and work through whatever happens. Keep in mind this is about first time offenders, not the second, third, etc time.

Bonus question: do you think men ever have a reason to cheat?

If it was My husband and we had kids then I would think long and hard. But if it was just a boyfriend then fuck it. He ain't worth it.

Nope wouldn't forgive him and we would divorce. And if I did it to him, divorce. We've talked about this and are both in complete agreement. Don't get married if you can't stay committed to one another.

I have been with my husband for 16 years we got together when we where 16 and was married at 18. I never cheated on him never when thought about it. Well when I was pregnant with our third child I found out for the last 10 years he was cheating. I felt and wouldn't speak to him again I had our third child and he wanted back. It was truly hard but at the same time he changed so much for the better. It been 5 years since all of the skeletons and we have grown together. Out marriage is better then its ever been. So for my experience I am glad I didn't give up on my husband clearly we where to young when we got married and men take much longer to grow the hell up. He is a complete different man. So it all depends on the relationship and if both parties are welling to work it out.

I couldn't. I told my husband when we started dating that I don't tolerate cheating. I watched my mom go through that heartache way too many times with my sperm donor and swore I would never go through that. We've been together 10 years, married for almost 7 1/2 years.

I forgave mine, I found out he cheated at the beginning of our relationship, we weren't in a healthy, loving, good relationship at the time, and almost immediately after he left me, we stayed apart for a little over a month while he pipelined and we didn't talk, when he came back he was a new man, kind, loving, so so good to me, he treated me better then I'd ever been treated. I truly think it was stress that got the better of him. The other girl told me she tried contacting him about a month or two after he got back and he told her never to speak with him again, that he found the one he wanted to marry and to stay out of his life. He's a new man now and I wouldn't take back my decision for the world.

Im in one of those seemingly rare relationships where i feel i know without a doubt my husband wouldnt cheat on me just because he was bored or someone caught his eye. Something would need to go very wrong in our relationship for him to think about doing it. I guess my problem would be i know hes not a one night stand kinda guy so if he decided to do that with another woman he would most certainly have feelings for them. I would probably forgive him if he asked me to but it would take me a long time. Fingers crossed we never cross that bridge!
