Is cramping at 8wks normal?

I'm 8 1/2wks and I get mild cramps off and on. No bleeding or discharge. My first Dr's appt isn't until Monday, I just wanna make sure everything's ok. I read that cramping is due to the uterus growing and stretching. I hope that's all that is.

I am having the same problem... Like mild menstrual cramps.  I googled it, and read it was very normal from 8-12 weeks- more common in 2nd and later pregnancies. This is my second, and I definitely don't remember this from last time.

Im 6w with my first and my doctor said its fine as long as they are mild, as it is your uterus wall growing. As long as they are mild, I'm sure everything is fine but it never hurts to check if you are uncertain. Good luck!
