Sore the day after?

So I had sex recently with a friend of mine. And he was larger than I've had before. It was good sex but there were a few times where he went so deep it hurt, really really bad. And today I've had a soreness like I've never felt before. Even after losing my virginity. And it hasn't gotten any better with ibuprofen. I'm nervous something happened.
