Contraction questions?

Is it possible to be in real labour and be contracting and dilating and progressing without being in any amount of pain or discomfort, with my son I was induced and when things started progressing I was in EXTREME amount of pain so there was no mistaking it. This time around I've had my membranes stripped been losing my mucus plug on and off and have started to nest and hormones are scary crazy, today I've been having frequent bowel Movements and some random intense Pains and so serious pain in my pelvic and vagina... And noticing some in my stomach on and off as well...anyone have a similar experience?
