Sort of TMI. No pictures!

Soooo it's been awhile since I've shaved my vagina. I mean, who has the time? That and being 35 weeks pregnant and GIGANTIC, I've just avoided it. ANYWAY, I shaved down there the other day (blindly, I might add) and then noticed that I was rather itchy in one spot. I figured it was razor burn or something. But the next day the itch was still there and no bumps or anything. So I got a handheld mirror, looked, and it turns out there are some varicose veins down there! What! Is this normal? Will it go away? I have a doctors appointment on Friday and will bring it up but I'm just a tiny bit worried.
