How to tell my strict father I'm pregnant.

Hello, I am around 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant. This is my first pregnancy. I miscarried a month ago and remarkably conceived healthily back to back from that. I will be 19 next month, I have finished school and I work as well as my older partner . I grew up with well-rounded parenting. However, my father is slightly more stern than my mother. My sister got pregnant at 16 and ran away to be with the father . Needless to say, my father at the time exploded on her and didn't speak to her for a while. Today, she just had her second child at 23, she is married to the man of her dreams (not the same boy), and my father loves her precious family to pieces . So what I am trying to ask is, even though I have finished school, and I have got my ducks in a line, how do I break to my father that I am expecting without breaking his heart?

Please help! Just in need of comforting motherhood opinions, I am clearly very young, inexperienced and nervous .

Note: Regardless, me and my partner are beyond excited !
