Why is there no way to find out the gender of your baby earlier? The gender makeup is formed as soon as the egg is fertilized, so why the hell do we have to wait so long to find out the gender?

The sexual organs don't start to develop out side the body until around 16-18 weeks so an ultrasound won't reveal evidence of gender. Every baby looks like a girl until around then. I know it's frustrating and we all get so excited to know the gender(s) but it's best to wait unless you can find a place that is willing to do blood work.

The only way to find it early is through genetic testing, but it has to be the genetic test that specifically tests for gender, because many of them don't.
