Dates mixed up- late ovulation?

Hey ladies, 
So I had a early scan last week due to some spotting, when I went I thought i was around 7 weeks and a few days, to be told I'm measuring between 5-6 weeks? I go back next week for another scan so hoping to see bambino has grown, and behaving!

Has anyone had this and what was the outcome? 
I could have ovulated late I guess, but it confuses me trying to understand it! 🙈

All spotting has stopped now I must add! So that's good right? ❤️

I went in at what I thought was 7 weeks 1 day and was told I was 5 weeks 4 days. I know I usually ovulate late because my cycles are usually long (34 days or so)

You most likely ovulated later than day 14... How long are your cycles usually? I wouldn't give up hope because there's really nothing to see at 5w. Do you have a follow up?

I had this too for the same reasons I thought I was 8 weeks and actually only 6.

So an update on the post I wrote... No baby in the gestational sack :(...gunna let nature take its course... Getting tested for some things to see why I maybe miscarrying #babydust

I just left my first ob appt. Going in think I was about 6 weeks 4 days and US measured 4 weeks 6 days. Only saw a sac but no baby. Very worried now.

So I'm kinda in the same boat... Had a scan last Thursday at what I thought 7w2d and gestational sack measured 6w4d... I'm going back this Thursday... I'm try to figure it all out too but that stressed me out thinking something is wrong with our sticky bean! I didn't have any spotting up until 1 time yesterday...Nothing today...So I'm relaxing and just waiting! Would love to have a buddy through this scary time! #babydust
