D&C questions??

Question

I have to have one on Wed. And I just want to know what it was like or how you felt after... Did you get pregnant again shortly after? I just so heartbroken and scared.

first I'm so sorry for your loss

second I had one back in April, wasn't painful, didn't have any pain in the days following just bleeding for a few weeks. Then I got pregnant again the end of June.

Sorry for your loss! I had one in September and had no cramps and minimal spotting afterwards. We conceived again 2 cycles later and I'm almost 10 weeks now.  I was really nervous before the procedure but I didn't need to be-- it was painless and the recovery was easy.  Best wishes to you!

I'm sorry for your loss. I was sore for a day or so, spotted for maybe 48 hrs, and was 100% normal feeling by the end of the second day. I got my cycle back 30 days later, and took 3 months for my cycle to regulate back to normal. If you track your cycle, you will have to start tracking again as MC/D&c can disrupt what your normal cycle was and have to go back to the drawing board as far as when you might ovulate/be late, etc. We started trying after month and took 7 months to get pregnant again.

Im so sorry for your loss. It wasn't bad physically.  I didn't bleed much like people said I would and I didn't hurt at all. It was hard emotionally. I didn't ovulate before my first period following the D&C, but I ovulated after my first period and got pregnant. You'll be more fertile. It took almost 2 years to get pregnant with the baby we lost and then Bam.. I got pregnant in one try.

I had one in June in the er. I was pretty out of it from all the drugs they gave me. D&C hurt a few days nothing bad but bled a lot. Took until August before my period return and my cycles have been messed up since then and still trying to conceive again. They say after a D&C more likely to conceive in the first 6 months. But also have them test your levels to make sure it's 0 in a month after. I am so sorry for your loss

First - I'm so sorry for your loss! Prayers are with you. 
Mine was pretty easy. They put you to sleep so you don't feel anything. The nurses at the hospital were so kind. The 2nd day I had some cramping - but I returned to work the 3rd day. It wasn't any worse than a bad period.
