Anxiety.

I have been battling anxiety for a while. It got much worse with this pregnancy. My kids have been sleeping in my room every night so that I feel they are safe. I, also, have to lock the door to my room so that I can sleep. Last night, I got the girls back into their own room. Of course, that means they were back in my room by 3 am. Even though I was too exhausted to put them back in their beds, I fell back to sleep without locking my door. Small step but it was amazing still. My anxiety had gotten so bad that I would have auditory hallucinations of someone on our steps... of course that meant having a panic attack and having to check every room, closet, under every bed. Around 4:30 am I woke up to these auditory hallucinations and I was able to fall asleep without doing a perimeter check. I still left my bedroom door unlocked. Some people will not understand how huge this is for me but I needed to share. Can't wait to tell hubby when he gets home. (He is supportive, but very frustrated with my anxiety battle.)
