I'm a pastry chef in a restaurant and My S.O. is the morning KM. I absolutely love what I do and it's been my main focus for much of my adult life. Being pregnant and working in a kitchen is really difficult sometimes, with not being able to lift flour sacks, the Hobart bowl, cases of butter, etc.... Now I find myself almost being more of a burden than help at 31+ weeks, but everyone has been so supportive and helpful and I just feeel so lucky to have the team that I do surrounding me. This is my first child and I am excited to see how and in what direction I will decide to take my career after my little one is born. (Obligatory pastry pics...)
