Am I the only one that would say no?

Okay so everyone will be tuned in for the Super Bowl this Sunday right? Well my family is having a bbq and I won't get to go because Sunday is my only day off and I have to catch up on homework and do a project that's due the next day. My family knows I won't be able to go. My sister (who I share an apartment with) asked me "what's Kameron doing for the super bowl?" Kamerons my boyfriend btw. And I said "idk he might come down" (he goes to school 2 hours away so he comes to see me on weekends) and she said "he should come to the bbq" and I said without me..?" And she said "yea... I think he should come" but the way she said it made me uncomfortable. I said no at first but I'm gonna let him know he's invited and he can go without me if he wants, but it just made me a little uncomfortable the way she was saying it. Am I the only one that would say no?
