In need of advice .. 😪

I'm 17 and pregnant and everyone tell me I've ruined my life and I'll never go to college or graduate from high school. My baby's father was my support when I found out I was pregnant considering I was to scared to tell my parents. Now my boyfriend left me saying he no longer cared what I do with my life or the life of his child. I havent seen or talk to him in 2 weeks but I was wondering if cutting him out of my child's life was the best thing to do ?. My dad tells me I have to at least let him be involved until he tells the courts he doesn't want to be so he can't tell the judge I never gave him the right to be in his child's life and I'll have to share custody.
