Hospital Tours?

When is a good time to tour the hospital, if you are having a hospital birth? Do you request a tour, or so the offer it at some point?

I did mine at 20w so if I was unhappy with hospital I had time to switch doctors....

You can always call the hospital you're planning on delivering at and asking if/when they do tours. (I'm sure every hospital is different, but ours does open tours every Saturday at 10am. We went this weekend and I'm 33 weeks.)

We have two scheduled in a few weeks. I'll be 26weeks at the time of both. I dont think anytime is too early.

I'll be 36 weeks weeks when we go to ours

We do the tour when we take our class, which is just over a month before my due date.

Our hospital did tours and it was on their monthly calendar. You could also call to set it up. I'm 38 weeks and we honestly haven't done one and I'm not too worried. I know where to go when we arrive and we've already preregistered. But call and see what they say that would be the best bet.

At my Obgyn office they let my husband and I talk to some lady she gave me the number and had me call to make the appointment I was about 36 weeks

My hospital does then at 34 weeks

You request it as far as I know. Your doctor may bring it up but mine hasn't so far. I went on the hospital website an arranged mine for March 2nd and my due date is April 25th
